We walked to the new Brooklyn Bridge Park yesterday. It’s quite lovely.

I made a pie for my office a month ago and I forgot to put the butter in the “crumble” and so the pie didn’t turn out so well. I had to redeem myself and make another one. I remembered the gosh darn butter this time and pie was pretty amazing. I made my own crust which is truly the way to go. Just like my grandmother Buh’s crust!

An old boyfriend took this of me when I was 19 at the Met in NYC. Thought it was a nice photograph.

Our back garden. James pulled up some paving stones, we poured some soil and voila! we have a garden. Plus James was able to put up his hammock.  To have outside space in Brooklyn is coveted real estate. We feel pretty lucky. These are older photos, the garden has really grown. I’ll post some more later.

I found a great chinese market just around the corner from my office. It’s my second time there and it’s always a mad house - buffet of chinese food, meat, fish and pastries - and all very cheap. I got sushi today, which was great.

As I walked to the subway, I came across a street fair - photos included.
